Mrs. Scala Bolduc has been teaching music since 2015, when she graduated from the University of Maine in Orono. She has known that she wanted to be a music teacher since 8th Grade.  This is Mrs. SB's third year teaching in Oxford Hills Schools, but before that, she taught High School Band in Windham!

Mrs. Scala-Bolduc loves to sing (obviously!) and even has a Bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance.  Did you know she's actually a trained Opera singer?  In addition to singing, Mrs. SB plays several instruments.  Some of her favorites include piano, ukulele, flute and saxophone.

One of Mrs. SB's favorite things about teaching music is how much fun she gets to have all the time.  How many teachers get to dance, play with scarves, sing silly songs, compose music, and bang on drums all day long?  She feels SUPER lucky that she gets to do these things every day, and even luckier that she gets to do them with her friends at Oxford Elementary School and Hebron Station School.

Mrs. Scala-Bolduc lives in Harrison with her kitty, Harri, her 15 goats, LOTS of hens and roosters, and a big ol' Tom turkey...oh yeah, and her husband, Jon ;) She has many hobbies including baking, crocheting, reading, and playing board games with her family.
